Sage 300 2016 Upgrade

I'm upgrading a customer from Sage 300 2014 PU 3 to Sage 300 2016 PU 1. I receive an error message at data activation that reads

Description: You cannot upgrade because some of the features you currently use are not available in the Sage 300 Premium. Years of Fiscal Sets. Contact your Certified Consultant for the correct product to upgrade your General Ledger data.

Any ideas?

Here's a clue: "You cannot upgrade because some of the features you currently use are not available in the Sage 300 Premium. Years of Fiscal Sets."

In GL Setup Options change the number of years history to the max allowed for your edition, then clear history and try again.
