Sage 300 ERP UI container crash - Disable Field edit control after Input

Hi, I came across an problem in Sage 300 ERP 2014,

I have a Field edit control with finder, for that field on record changed event i'm disabling it. that means after entering value that control will be disabled.

If i select a value from finder its working fine, but if i enter value from keyboard then UI container crashing.

did anyone came across this issue? any solution?

Are you performing the validation and disabling of the field after the user exits the field or at a different time? Can you show us the code?

Hi Django,

Yes, you are right, I have a validation, once data is entered in that field when I'm exiting that control immediately its happening. the same if I do through finder its fine.

instead of UIEnabled i tried readonly enabled for that control, but same issue. I did debug line by line it went to Accpaccontrols classmodule and coming out. that time its not stopping, once it come out of datasource on record changed event its stopped. no errors found in msession also.

I would recommend that you force some other control to have the focus first and then disable the field.

Yeah I tried, setting up focus on another control before disable, then also same issue
