Internal Error Batch

A user posted a batch in AR, status says posted. However the batch does not appear in the GL.

An error message popped up stating: Internal error Batch, Transaction not active, Internal error gljehlnsert:update batch fails(2006 GLJEH1.C)

Please advise.

You have critical errors in your GL tables. Do you have a good backup?

Does GL Data Integrity report any problems in GL? Can you create a new batch in GL Journal Entry?

No, I have not printed the report yet. The user has not created a new batch due to the possibility of more errors.

If there is a problem in the data or environment, it is not going to go away. At least copy the data to a test machine and run through the paces.
