how to report on the Value of a PO Tax out after complete

When a PO is complete and sent to AP the value of EXTEND is set to 0.00 i can reference SCAMOUNT which seems to hold the original value after completion of the PO but it is tax in. I need to know the original value for reporting tAX out. I can't find any way field that maintains the value that was originaly in EXTEND or any way to calc it as all the tax fields that i can see are all set to 0.00 also. Is there another table or some other way i can calc it?

in our situation the business approves a PO value and taxes are just set to the default of the vendor. Finance can then adjust the tax at the AP level. What I am needing to report on is the value of the approved PO's (taxes out). I assume what is in the tax tables is the amount of tax that was actually recorded in ap. Eg i have a po for 500 with 2 taxes 50 each total 600. Then it is shipped to AP and it is determined only 1 tax should be charged so 500 with 1 tax 50 so 550 is total PO. When they report on this PO they need to report on the $500.

I would think that the TAXBASE1 field would contain the total not including tax.

nope taxbase1 is set to 0.00

wow how did I miss that. Yes that does seem to be taxes out. do you happen to know how that field interacts. If i have a partial receipt is that updated with the value of the receipts only? By its title it seems it would be the amount extended of goods received.

It is the running total of the amount received against the PO.

thanks so much. For anyone else wanting to do this I thought i would document my findings

Vcavailabl: PO plus tax
EXTENDED: value of goods taxes not received
DOCTOTAL: value of goods plus tax not recevied
EXTRECEIVE: value of goods received - no tax
EXTCANCEL: value of goods cancelled - no tax

EXTENDED + EXTRECEIVE + EXTCANCEL

I tried this and the value stored in EXTRECEIVE is often much larger than the cumulative value of all items received against the PO (when i say much larger the actual value should be a few hundred dollars and the value in that field is 100's of thousands of dollars), anyone have any idea why this would be?
