I'm running into the exact same issue right now, but have never modified a report like this previously. Would you be able to provide some more details on how exactly you modified the report, and what data was changed?

Used  UltraEdit I think i needed the "Extended" search mode it allowed me to add the new tag and insert a return.  I believe the blue bn was there but I had to add the yellow one.  Not totally sure may have mixed that up but you should get the idea.  I kept this call open for a long time with Sage they indicate this is fixed in V2016 the latest service pack.  I have not been able to test yet.  So if you don't have the latest service back on you may want to do that first.

happened again to me this year.  More detailed description to fix is

Use ultra edit and do the following

Search for

</rcpnt_nbr>

Replace with – where xxxxxxxx is the missing business #

</rcpnt_nbr>^p<bn>XXXXXXXXXRP0001</bn>

ALSO had to add the tag in the Summary information manually

I added the <bn>XXXXXXXXXRP0001</bn> right after the address
