Sage 300 Session cache time to live

Hi,

I use ACCPAC.Advantage to access a Sage 300 company. I noticed that an opened Session object will be serving requests pretty quickly when calls are made within 10-15 seconds of each other. Then, if there were no requests, the next call will hang for about 8 seconds before returning the result. I am guessing that is due to some internal cache getting stale.

Am I understanding this correctly, and is there a way to control that cache's time to live?

Please advise. I wanted to improve user experience in the case of just a few user, when the number of requests is not that dense.
