I hope you are all well.

We have experienced in the following scenario on one stock item during Order Entry:

Qty on hand = 0

Qty Committed = -3

Qty Available = 3

Negative inventory is never allowed.

Could anyone shed some light on the above situation?

How could the system have 3 units available when there isn't any unit on hand?

Also, why unit committed is negative?
