Sage 300 2023 pu1 - Ops inquiry screens from Sage Windows Erroring

Hi All

Is anyone else experiencing the following

Client is a brand new clean server, Sage Version is 2023 Pu1 .

When users tries to click the Ops Inquiry screen from the Sage 300 screens, eg Order Entry the following error is received

OS Build

SQL 2022

All other Ops inquiries windows open.

Regacc has been run.

Have tried by right clicking and running Sage as Administrator - same error occurs

Have tried creating new order and the error is slightly different

Turned off windows defender

Is anyone else experiencing this.

We are now getting it on two separate clients, and an internal local workstation so we can replicate it.

We are getting the exact same error on V2023 as well have Sage come back with any resolution to this as yet ?? Thanks

Yes.... logged with Sage support. Reply was "R&D are researching the issue..."

Were you able to make any progress on this?

We're getting a similar error on itemdrill from OE transactions:

Launching Ops Inquiry from the folder however, works.

This error does not occur on the server, only on workstations.

We are getting the exact same error on V2023 as well

have Sage come back with any resolution to this as yet ??

We are now getting this on pretty much every site we load. Sage are saying its not urgent as its not replicable, but seems to be a problem.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you! Australia has been late to approve pu4 for us. out of desperation we found replacing the Sage\sage300\programs\Runtime\optdrill.dll with a 6.8.0.0 version of that dll works. too

Confirmed this worked for 2 of my clients on 2023 PU1 that cannot update to PU4 just yet. Thanks for posting this option!
