ICBOM01.rpt giving connector error when processing CSV_FILE

Question

ICBOM01.rpt gives connector error when processing CSV file made by ICCOMP.DLL 
 V2020 I get no error if I suppress the sub-report so I know it is that sub-report showing BOM details Error happens on server with O365 and another server with no Office installed 
 All the SAP crdb*.DLL appear in C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86 
 Seems to have started for no reason

well, it was data corruption, The item description of several items had a line feed and that ruined the csv file this report makes Sage might want to consider replacing that with space or "?" when building the CSV; or best might be disallowing LF in field
