Issue with exporting after installation of Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product Update 5

Hi There,

After the installation of Sage 300 ERP 2012 PU5, our client has an issue exporting transactions to Excel with the formatting option used to export.

The debit and credit amounts for the transactions are showing in the same column. This happens for all users in Sage 300 ERP.

Is this a known issue or does anyone have any solution to resolve this?

Known issue - every new version has its own quirks when exporting Crystal reports. If you want data in Excel then exporting from Crystal reports is not the best option. Look at Intelligence or other options.

Hi Ettienne,
They have an exported excel file which they exported from AP and then they import the excel file into Sage 300 which fills in their transactions, it is not crystal reports. It is just an import/export excel file but the credit and debit amounts for the transactions are showing in the same column after the product update

There is only one column in the export, debits are positive and credits are negative. It has always been that way in all the versions.

Hi Ettienne,
There seemed to be a communication issue when I posted this, I have confirmation now that in fact, all columns export as a positive value in Excel.

It is the GL Batch List, the amounts all show as positive values when exported using the formatting option, if it uses data only it is ok. This only happened after the Product Update 5 of Sage 300 ERP 2012 was installed. Before that it was working fine.

I exported a GL batch to Excel and it is fine, one column with positives (debits) and negatives (credits). This is on 2012 with PU5.

First you said it's not Crystal reports, but "data only" means it's Crystal reports. Which is it?

It was an issue with "A4Wcrinterop.dll" file - renamed this file and placed a new file in the runtime folder and now it is working
