Changing Sage folder name

Question

I would like to try changing the Sage Accpac shared folder name from "Sage 300 ERP" to "Sage300ERP" without the spaces. 
 Would the application or database get affected if we were to do like this? What other changes would need to be done if we change the shared folder name?

If you change the shared folder name, you'll need to rerun workstation setup on every PC, or as least regedit. But who cares if it has spaces or not?
