Reorder quantities - Sage 300 2014 PU3

My client wants the system to reorder to the Max value under the following conditions:

In I/C Items & Price Lists > Reorder Quantities

Min Qty: 0

Max Qty: 5

Reorder Qty: 0

I have tested this scenario out and ordering to the max does not happen and it works (not surprisingly) when there are values for Min and Reorder and the system reorders for the difference between the Max value here and Qty on Hand + Qty on PO - Qty on SO in Location details.

Does anyone have any thoughts on reordering to the Max value under conditions mentioned in the first paragraph?

For starters you must have a quantity in Reorder Qty, 0 will not work. Set it to 1.
When you create POs there is an option to create "up to the maximum" or something like that - use that option.
Also look in the documentation, there is an explanation of what the reorder function does under what conditions.

Thanks 49153, does the Projected Sales Qty number affect the qty ordered in anyway?
