He was being helpful... not unfriendly.
Items are transferred between locations at actual cost, you cannot enter a cost in the transfer screen. Unless the item is set to use user specified costing.

Thanks, i do know that the cost cannot be modified on the transfer screen. My concern is that the actual cost doesn't come along with when transferring from one location to another. it appears "zero".
