Documents (invoices, statements of account) attached to the emails (Outlook) have strange file names when sent to customers and print destination is customer email.
I generate recurring invoices and while printing Sage 300 (2016) creates email messages into Outlook with attachments. With Sage 5.6 file name attached to the email was in this case invoice number. With Sage 300 (2016) file name is a temporary file.

We are now running on the same version 2016 (300 Advanced build 30) with Product Update 2 and here is how the attachment shows:

You don't need Printposs, for sending invoices by email.
You will need Printboss to print checks.
I guess with Printboss you will have to do the following, change print destination to screen
when file is displayed on the screen go to export
and choose email
or redirect to your printer which as suggested could be Printboss.
