Inventory Report - On hand value is double the correct amount

When running the inventory on-hand intelligence report I see that one item at one location is showing a quantity onhand as twice as much as it should be.   The costs are also showing up at twice the correct amount.  Any idea of what is happening.  We look at the inventory location detail and see the correct amounts, but on the Intelligence Report it is showing twice as much.

Any ideas?

    Hi Mike,

Is the report is taking the main account as well as the roll-up accounts into consideration when producing a value?

This could be the reason behind the value you're seeing. The Sum should be all sub accounts or the main account in this case.

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,

I found out that the container is incorrect.  I took a copy of my clients data and ran the report on our system and it works fine.  The problem is with the inventory.  On my clients system the Inventory Master 3-2{AE-SQL} has an extra left Join [ICREORD}.  My copy of the same container does not have that join.  If I remove the extra join it works correctly. My clients have two container records, one for reorders and a second one for the master.  Both have the extra join statement.  My system does not have the extra container and my Inventory Master does not have the extra join.  Both systems have graphical joins, so I believe they could not be modified.

Is there a way to me to copy my version of Inventory Master 3-2 to my clients system?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Mike,

Sure there is. You'll be able to download the latest standard reports with the Sage Intelligence Report Utility which you can find here https://www.sageintelligence.com/report-utility/sage-300/

Check out the "Sage 300 SQL Inventory Reports" as well as "Sage 300 SQL Standard Reports" as I think they'll be the most relevant to you in this case.

There are also a ton of other free reports which you can download as needed!

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
