ERROR ON EMAIL OF REPORTS

I am trying to set up the automatic daily emailing on a clients server for the standard Inventory Master Report in Sage 300.

I have added the distribution settings, manage instructions, select instructions but when I click on Send Now I get the following error:

Error occurred during email publish in distribution instruction [Inventory Master]:
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get past this ?

Hi Lavinia

What version of 300 are you using and is your Excel 32/64 bit?

Thank you for the response,

Its Version 6.2 of Sage 300 and they are using Office 2007 in 32 Bit.

Please can you verify the BI Excel Function file version this can be found

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BIExcelFunctions1.1\32bit

or

C:\Program Files \Common Files\BIExcelFunctions1.1\32bit

Which BI Excel Function file do we look at to determine the version? I am having the exact same issue with a customer on version 2020 PU3. There are 9 different Sage.BI.ExcelFunctions files in that path
