i receive this error when I run out a report from BI viewer and select the tilde to lookup and select the years to be included in the report.

Troubleshooting so far:

- works from another workstation in the same building can not see any thing different between the two workstations 

- confirmed port used by SQL Express:  I can telnet from the workstation to the SQL server on port 1433 successfully (19752)

- i am using server connection in DBsetup not data source (ID:83373)

- not using connector ID:83373

- have tried configuring ODBC  [server]\[instance],[port number] no difference

- sage runs fine with no problems 

- happens even with a report that has not been customized
