BI Report Viewer and run as admin

SOLVED

I have users attaching to a terminal server where a workstation installation of sage and BI is installed and the uses are currently local admins of the terminal server.  Everything works fine.   But we want to remove their local admin rights.  Has anyone found a way to do this.  I have tried:

- ran install of sage as admin when user was local admin

- ran viewer reports worked

- removed local admin to this user

- run sage "run as" a user that has local admin rights

- seems to work but when it gets to where it will integrate with Sage it dies

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi.  Not quite sure what you mean on your last point about integrating with Sage.  However, as a general point, it must be a full Sage 300 System Manager and programs installation on terminal servers.  Sage intelligence will fail in some circumstances if it's just a workstation installation.

It might be that you still have to mess about with user permissions, but I'd suggest the workstation installation needs to be ruled out first.
