Publish to Excel BI report doesn't respect defined Print Area

SOLVED

I have a multi page BI financial where i have defined the print area.   When I publish the report to excel it publishes everything on that worksheet and not just the defined print area.  Is there any work around for this?  I would use PDF but the problem with PDF is each sheet goes to a separate PDF

You will have to hit "Print" when it is on your Sage 300 machine. Once you "Print to PDF" on your Sage machine, you can then send the PDF to your recipients. Doing things this way means that you avoid using the Distribute Tool completely since Printing to PDF essentially makes it static by definition.

thank you this was helpful.   Are you familiar with a free  "create PDF" that when you choose multiple worksheets and choose print active sheets it will generate a single PDF not multiple 1 page PDF's.   I am unable to use MS print to PDF because I am on a terminal server.  From your reply i am assuming MS print to PDF would have done this and I assume that in the full adobe suite you can likely do that.
