Hi L. Albert run the Statement Designer under G/L Financial Reporter, load up the standard Balsum*.xlsx and Incsum*.xlsx and customize for your Chart of Accounts. The manual to help you with the Financial Reporter, Statement Designer is at:

Yes you will need to follow the guide to edit those stock reports so they include your actual account ranges or create new reports to your needs. When it comes to initial report writing, I strongly would encourage you to engage your local Sage 300 Consultant / Business Partner for training and assistance on this matter. We do our best to help people here, free of charge, but there are limits to what we can do. There are also some videos you can try on youtube that walk you through the entire reporting process:

BTW in case you're wondering why there aren't "pre-build" P&L and Balance Sheet reports that just work, when you setup Sage 300 you build your chart of reports exactly to your oragnisations needs, not choose a pre-built list of accounts like you can in smaller accounting systems designed for very small businesses. Unfortunately this is why there isn't a pre-build report that will just work as it wouldn't be accurate, it would only be an assumption.
