Error messages and Hangings...

We just upgraded to Sage 300 ERP 2014. All other versions worked great and hardly ever had any problems.

This new upgrade also required that we upgrade our server. As a result, we are now running 2 servers, 1 for Sage 300 ERP software and 1 for Sage 300 ERP database using SQL.

Since this new setup, we have encountered a few errors which have caused me some concern. For instance, error message in AR receipts are frequent. They vary from inability to create a batch, because it claims that the batch has already been created, to hanging up if more than 1 person tries to do something in AR receipts at the same time, especially if some is posting. The common issues have all been limited to AR receipts.

However, although errors are indicated, after a few seconds the transactions are processed and appear to be recorded correctly. We also always get messages saying that application has been successfully processed afterwards.

I am hoping that someone can offer some insight into this problem as my concern is that this may be the warning signs to a bigger issue.

Sage software server is running Windows 8 and we have 10 users for the software.
