There aren't really any "steps", it happens out of the box. What are your error messages?

64-bit Excel is not supported.

Also check Accpac 5.4 compatibility with your Excel version - 5.4 is kinda ancient.

Your question makes no sense?

Turn off UAC, and run Accpac as an administrator.

The user has both 2003 and 2010 Excel installed on his computer. We are going to be upgrading to the latest version but this department cant wait until then, so they are asking me to get this up and running.

Uninstall Excel 2010, or Google how to make 2003 the default program for XLS files.
