My PC has stopped running the AOM "Advantage.xml" file and offers to download it. (Using ANY browser). does anyone know a fix?

I can run the old versions that use html extension, but I prefer to use the up to date AOM when working with Crystal etc...

Right click, "Open With", point to a browser.

Yes thanks I tried that with each browser with the same result. There must be a Windows problem.
I closed everything and ran CMD and used the command sfc /scannow, and apparently that fixed some stuff but not this issue.

Yes, this is a Windows problem. Maybe run REGEDIT, delete HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xml, then download and run CCleaner. www.piriform.com/ccleaner

I have found that if I have IE open, then double click Advantage.xml, it will open properly, but not if IE was not running.

Then any link, i have to right click and open in a new tab.

This way it runs.

Go Figure....
