AR Aging Reports in BI are Cutting Off by Doc Date, Possible by Posting Date?

SOLVED

I have a client wanting to use the free BI reports provided by Sage called the

  1. Customer Aged Trial Balance S300-SQL(C4-0-5) or the
  2. Detailed AR Aged Trial Balance S300-SQL(C133-0-4)

Unfortunately, both aging reports cut off by Doc Date and for her company it needs to be by Posting Date (unlike sample data, these dates are not the same in most live companies). Is it possible to tweak one of these reports in Connector or Report Manager to allow for running cut off by Posting Date?

    Good Day,

kindly note that these are free reports.

unfortunately, we will not be able to tweak these as it the standard template for all customers.

Hi Luke, are you with Sage Intelligence in S. Africa? If so, my question is why create a report that doesn't allow customers to change the cut off to be by Posting Date (or Fiscal Yr/Period) like the internal Sage AR Aged Trial? Having a default cut off be by Document Date (with no other options) as a standard template is frustrating for clients, since many businesses can’t reconcile the subledger to the GL by Document Date (because doc date doesn’t inherently control/match up to the GL posting period). I am happy to change the code myself, but I need a little guidance to do it since I am unfamiliar with all of the joins and alias tables that it has going on. If you can provide any guidance on where to start changing the code, or if Sage put any alternative fields that can be put into filters or parameters to accomplish the task, that information would be much appreciated.

Don't lump all clients into this.  My clients don't have a problem reconciling by doc date.
