That works very well (almost). It doesn't change the year when rolling into a previous year. 

I'd likely add another row for the year determination and then construct a date from the Year cell and Month cell for your @FRFISCAL formula.

Thanks Django and yes, that's where I am stuck and why I posted the question. I cannot figure out the year formula when crossing fiscal years.

In G12 I have my @FR("Year") formula.  Then in H12 .. R12 I have the following formulas:

=IF(H$8=12,$G$12-1,G12)

..

=IF(R$8=12,$G$12-1,Q12)

If the period in row 8 is 12, then subtract one from the year, otherwise use what is in the cell to the left.

I guess I was trying to overcomplicate things with FR formulas when I could have just been using standard excel formulas. Thanks for the help Django.

I had to make a couple tweaks to the year formula to get it working with month 1, but it's all figured out. However, and this is probably un-related, but the formulas don't always display properly on the actual printed report. If I'm using statement designer it always takes 2 tries with FR View to get them to populate. If I just use the print financial statements function from Sage, I get #N/A

It's been years since I wrote financials but I recall there being a trick where you should run the FR Clear function if your report starts acting odd.  Otherwise, send me a DM and I can take a look at it and see what we can see.
