Sage 300 2023 pu 5 Printing ODBC reports shows Failed to open the Connection

I have just upgraded a client to Sage 300 ERP 2023 pu5

When I print a pipe delimited report or form to preview it works fine, but when I print an ODBC based report it shows "Failed to open the connection".

It doesn't matter if it is a custom report or a standard form out of the box, same error message.
