Yes, you can export to Excel and import with a macro, but why would you want to do that?
Hi Jay,
I want to do that because the company for which I am working has one subsidiary which is using quickbooks while we are using Sage 300 so it is helpful in our consolidation
Thanks for the suggestion.
is there any utility available which periodically transfers from Quickbooks to Sage 300 GL Transactions?
There is no such utility.
Thanks
Yes, you'll have to write your own macro. The steps would be:
1. Run the QB report
2. Export to Excel
3. Run your macro to import from that spreadsheet
And the integration would be one-way only.
FWIW, if you're a good C# programmer, Quickbooks has an API that you might be able to use.
Thanks Jay It was very helpful!
Hi Patriksoni
I know this question is very old but since then technology has evolved, now you have two options it's either you get a 3rd party integration app that can sync data automatically and can be programmed to do it at certain time intervals, or you get an api and manually program yourself, but if you are looking to save time you should look into the 3rd party integration apps which can also be found in Marketplace app listings.
