Exactly which "Cashflow Statement" are you referring to? ??????.xls?
I was creating one from scratch based on a quick books statement of cash-flow report (owner wanted same format) This is a cash from statement by period reporting operating activities for a specific quarter, I have the accounts (from balance sheet) mapped as per QB report but are left with the Cash beginning and ending balance.
There is no such formula in Sage, it's an accrual system, not a cash basis system. You'll have to roll your own calculations. This thread may help: sagecity.na.sage.com/.../53516.aspx

If you have migrated over from Quick books you might have an account called "un-deposited funds", this as well as all the bank accounts, checking and savings, Petty cash etc. are the accounts you will need to have in the account field to calculate the cash balances on this report withe the formal for the period you seek.
