Expiry Date in Lot

Question

I have large number of lot records which does not have the expiry date entered . and as there is no import function in IC Lot Number screen, 
 
 is it safe to alter data bases ICXLOT to update the Expiry Date EXPIRYDATE Field through SQL or export and import. 
 Does it harm Data Inrigrity Check. 
 
 Please advise

nidal , If you do that in ICXLOT, make sure the IC item of the lot is properly setup to use Days to Expiry in IC Setup. Otherwise, you might run issue issues later on. I believe that's the LUSEEXPDAY and LEXPDAYS in ICITEM. When setting up days to expiry avoid assigning zero a default value. Try to put in the right number of days to expire. That will save you a lot of headaches later.
