We have an existing module that gets installed into Sage 300.   This module consists of several forms that are tied to views that we created.   This whole process was done with Visual Basic 6 leveraging the SDK.  

I am just learning my way around the SDK development and am trying to change this  existing module to not include some of the existing views/forms but also to change some of the existing forms as well.   This development was done some time back but I am hoping to reuse as much of the existing work as possible but also keep the process as painless as possible.  

The issue I am having is the existing was done with VB6 and I am having issues getting that  VB/Sage SDK environment set up in Windows 8.   I wondered if anyone had any experience with that - if it can be done or if it can be easily be ported so we can reuse as much as possible in a different environment - or failing that, if anyone had success setting up that environment in windows 8.

Thanks for any input you can give me.  As I said, I am just starting to feel my way around the process.
