Column A: %%
Column B: ACSEGVAL02="02"

Basically column A says use all accounts and column B says restrict to 02.
Check the syntax of the second line - I'm going off aged memory here. Paste the formula from FRPaste to get the proper syntax.

1) How to design an report in source currency?
2) Restriction in a row(or minus), or how to express 10%%-(102-03-01) in formula. That is to say to sum up all GL accounts starting with 10 but 102-03-01?

1) Explain exactly what/how you want to report in source currency? Amounts converted at month end rate, average rate or transaction date rate?

2) Column A: 10%%
Column B: ="(ACCTID = ""102-03-01"")"
Column D: T
Basically in column A it says all accounts starting with 10%%, column B says exclude 102-03-01 and column D totals the line.

Thanks Ettienne. For my first question, my company has several GL accounts with multi-currency nature( my company's functional currency is Canadian Dollar and US$ is source currency). I have a report to report these GL accounts in Canadian $ but do not know how to design a report in US$? I hope it is clear.Thank you again.

Try this formula to get USD source amounts:
=FRAMTA("NETP","","","USD.S")

Hi Ettienne, It is really useful tip. when i was trying to use it. I just realized i had already used ACSEGVAL02="02" in the column B to exclude some Accts. Can i exclude 102-02-05 in such situation? Thanks. Frank

Yes you can use anything.

Hello Ettienne, I used that in Column B: ACSEGVAL02="02", ="(ACCTID = ""102-03-01"")". But it is invalid. My purpose is the use above two criteria at the same time. Am i missing something? Thanks.

To get the correct criteria you need to use FRPaste, <criteria>, Selection Criteria and build the criteria you need.

I test several but does not works. to save you time. I will repeat my question and my test below:

Example GL Accounts:
100-02-03
101-02-04
102-02-05
102-03-01

test more than one restrictions in Col B-Add all GL Accounts with 02 in section 2 except 101-02-04

what i did: Colume A:%%
Colume B: ="(ACSEGVAL02 = ""02"" AND ACCTID != ""101-02-04"" )"

Test Result: "AND ACCTID !=""101-02-04"" does not work

i missing something?

Right... ACCTID does not include dividers "-" and ACCTFMTTD does.
