Connectivity problem with Excel

Hi, 

MS released an update this past weekend and it seems to have affected connections to excel. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this. Before the MS updates our macros were programmed to connect to Excel with Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 . This isn't working anymore and we had to update the macros to connect to excel using Excel.Application . We've seen this on multiple versions of Windows Server and Excel, pretty much any versions Sage still supports.

  • I had something similar happen when I was pushed from Office 2013 to 2016. There's probably an option that I didn't check (or get a chance to check) that allowed me to install that ODBC driver.
