Does the macro run all by itself without any errors inside of Sage?

All macros or a specific macro?

Check your References inside your AVB, look for MISSING.

I am trying to run the macro from within Sage using the Run Macro button
It seems to be all macros
No changes to the macro - it is the standard cashflow.avb macro that I have always run.

Just found that I am unable to edit the macros in C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage 300 ERP\Macros - Access denied
This is new as well.

Rerun workstation setup

Well, gone from bad to worse.

Uninstalled and reinstalled along with PU3.

When I went to apply the fix for a4wcrinterop.dll issue in Windows 10, I got this for the first time:

Now when I try to run, I get this:

I am baffled. I have done a number of Win 10 installs and never had an issue.

_Never_ install Sage to the default Programs folder on Windows 8 or above, make a new folder.

We run local workstation installs here - so not sure if that is still valid or not, but just to be sure, tried that as well.

Uninstalled, cleaned disk files and registry entries and reinstalled to C:\Sage 300 ERP on my local workstation.

No difference.

For some reason - the install was not installing Sage Intelligence or its files, we copied the BX62A folder from another computer and that fixed the most recent error - at least to some extent, still not able to run Sage Intelligence, but I don't use it.

No error happening now when I try to run a macro, the cursor doesn't even change to busy for a second, and no errors in the logs. Tried running as local admin and tried different compatibility settings. Nada.

Still a problem with the a4wcrinterop.dll issue also - the fix fails with the error shown in the DOS box in my post above.

Any thoughts?

I'm having a similar issue here. On Windows 10 Pro, running Sage 300 ERP 2014 PU3. Nothing would happen when trying to run or edit a macro.

Repair installation caused more problems. I then uninstalled and reinstalled. That created the same problem with BX 6.2A. I tried repairing/modifying/reinstalling several times before learning about the missing BX62A folder.

Current steps:

• uninstalled everything
• deleted every Sage and ACCPAC folder I could find
• removed every ACCPAC registry item I could find
• ran CCleaner
• rebooted
• reinstalled to C:\ACCPAC\
• edited compatibility settings for a4wvba.exe
• re-ran WSSetup\VBA\VBAOF11.MSI
• checked antivirus
• begged
• pleaded

I never did find a solution, really.
Ended up formatting and reinstalling Win 10 Pro and it has been working since.
However, this had happened to me in Win 7 Pro before this, so I didn't really find out what was happening.
I just didn't have time to continue troubleshooting...
Had that not worked, I got the feeling I might have been screwed.

Make a system restore point then see if it makes a difference if you completely disable UAC. Pull the UAC setting to the bottom, reboot, then edit the registry (see below) and reboot.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Set EnableLUA to 0 to disable UAC
Set EnableLUA to 1 to enable UAC

1. in registry, set EnableLUA to 0 to disable UAC
2. rebooted
3. tried editing/running a macro --> FAIL
4. ran WSSetup\setup.exe 
5. tried editing/running a macro --> SUCCESS!
6. in registry, set EnableLUA to 1 to enable UAC
7. rebooted
8. tried editing/running a macro --> SUCCESS!

Maybe the next person with this problem can try running WSSetup\setup.exe  OR disabling UAC before reinstalling everything.
