What version SQL and Windows?

My first thought is the issue we found.  Log into the KB and look for KB# 33789 (Defect# 49370) - Sage 500 ERP 2014 LicRegServerx64.dll does not register on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 operating system.

  Well you got me headed in the right direction, Thank you.  I was not able to register the LicRegServerx64.dll in my server, that part was correct.  That got me looking and I found that if I got that dll from the Nov 08 Hot Fix and replaced the one I had it is allowing me to run the Upgrade Utility.  Very strange... My guess is there is an issue with that dll in the 7.6 version.  I'll let you know if anything goes a rye.

Yes, i'm not sure if you saw the KB, but it has a previous version's LicRegServerx64.dll attached which is the work around.  Glad you were able to get that working!
