The next major release of Sage 500 ERP will likely be labeled 2023, which would mean a date of July 2022 to June 2023.  If the next release is actually labeled 2023, then I would say it would come about October 2022 at this point if it were to come in 2022.  We try to balance the desire by some for more frequent releases and fewer new features against less frequent releases and fuller new features.  For 500, we realize that many of our customers are customized, so a release upgrade can be hard on them and expensive.  As you are likely aware, customization often exceeds the cost of the base product.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but I think it would be reasonable to say that it would be October 2022 or Feb-June 2023 .  I can't stress enough that nothing is guaranteed at this point.
