You can change the landing page for any of the modules displayed in the desktop with a right-click on the page in the Tasks Explorer bar, select properties and change the content path in the form of a URL. The landing page is only viewed when the desktop is undocked and you must have permissions to modify the desktop to save your changes to the menu settings. There are some scripting and other limitations since the browser emulates Internet Explorer, but you can redirect or even open a local or network file by changing the task group properties.
