I just got off the phone with Support.  According to them, the January 2014 Update is the last for 7.4 - which is disappointing to me as there are a number of fixes in April/July that I am interested in.

Also means that 7.4 customers are not likely to get 1099 updates either.  I wish this were communicated earlier ("plus 2 prior versions").

So as far as EOL - web/phone support available until 9/15 (via RKL:http://www.rklesolutions.com/blog/sage-500-supported-versions/).  But product updates are probably done.

Please allow me to clarify for the record. The Sage support policy is to provide ongoing support for the current version and 2 versions back (in this case -- 2014, 2013, and 7.4).  Typically, we provide scheduled product updates for the current version and one version back (2014 and 2013).  However, we may (at our discretion) provide an individual fix for the earlier version based on severity, perceived impact, and the overall nature of the requested/required fix.

Additionally, while we have previously provided 1099 year end updates for the current release and one version back, that determination is based on the adoption rate of the newer versions in conjunction with the length of the current release cycle.  In this instance, due to planned availability of the 2015 release targeted for late summer 2015, should a 1099 year end update be required (as it typically is) we will provide the update for the current release (2014), and 2 releases back (2013 and v7.40).
