Emailing invoices

Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to set up emailing invoices on version 7.40.20?

 

I was told that I had to use the primary contacts email address.  I would prefer to use a secondary email address.

    You were informed correctly for your version of Sage 500.

    This feature was introduced in the 7.5 (aka 2013) version of Sage 500. The new feature is called Multiple Email Recipients for Document Transmittals when you move to this release.

    Unfortunately in the version you are running you would need to have a customization done in order to have this feature.
