v7.4 Sales Order - Phantom Line - Exists but Blank

I have a Sales Order that I'm trying to close but cannot. There are two lines in the SO. You can see this correctly in all Inventory Transaction Tables and Explorer View (Sales Order Lines). However, on the enter Sales Order screen. It shows three Line,. The 2nd line is Blank but Grayed Out.

Can I get some pointers on how to fix?

Hi Gary, that kind of issue use to happen when we modify the screen behavior. I can see the screen has been modified either by Customizer or Source Code. Can you confirm that it was used Customizer? Otherwise I can help you only if you have the source code. Let me know and we can take it from there.

It was modified at the source code level. The company that did our original support are no longer a Sage Partner so we can't get support through them.

I tried opening the order through a standard installation of the 7.4 client (no modifications) and had the exact same issue.

Oh, that is interesting... I've seen a few cases like this but all of them were related to bugs on customizations. Let's see... Is this happening only to SO Entry screen? If so, is this happening only with so#42621? This is a strange one but I am sure we will figure it out.

The issue 'Sales Order form missing Item ID in SO detail grid and Item subtab ' was reported to Sage 500 support in March 2013 and resolved with April 2013 product update for version 7.4. The code fix was for Sage 500 client code.
