Work Order Completion - Complete button is grayed out and I can't click.

I am unable to do Work Order Completion for any work orders created through Production Entry.  The 'Complete' button is grayed out.   There is no error message.  Am I missing a step or is this a problem with settings?

I don't have this problem for any work orders created from a sales order.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I believe when you use production entry, the work order that is generated is a completed work order.  So, the work order should be complete at the end of production entry.  I noticed that the Complete Date is blanked out in this case in the completion entry application.  I am thinking that it should not be blanked out.  If you look at the work order in work order maintenance, you will see it as complete and it will have the complete date.

    So, the correct behavior for the completion entry application for a work order created through the production entry task should probably have the complete button greyed out and the Complete Date shown and not blanked.  This current behavior seems to also make the form think data needs to be changed even though you are just browsing due to the blanking of the Complete Date.

    So you really do not need to mark them complete, but the application should probably be updated to show the completion date so you know the system thinks they are complete on the completion entry application form.

    Also, if prompted to save changes, do not save them as it may wipe out the valid completion date that is not shown.
