To determine the version of Sage 50 US you are using, open your Sage program, and click on Help > About Sage 50 Accounting. This will give you detailed information about the program you are using.

I'm not entirely clear what you're referring to when you ask if there is "a fee for the year end", but there is no charge to attend the Sage Study Halls listed above. There is also no fee to access the information in the Sage Year-end Center.
