We regularly survey our Sage 50 customers asking for feedback, and your responses are making a difference. That’s why we’re proudly announcing product and service enhancements based on your survey feedback. 

You Spoke! We Listened!

Customer Services

  • Courtesy Callback: leave your number and keep your place in line without being put on hold. We’ve also streamlined our call handling process to provide relevant solutions in fewer steps.
  • Extended support hours: In preparation for our busiest time of year, we’re extending our support hours beginning January 3, 2017, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific, and on Saturday January 7 and January 14 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific.
  • Improved knowledgebase searching: Our experts have been busy updating articles in the Sage Knowledgebase using the words customers search most often with—so now they’re easier to find. Pro tip: For best results, we recommend using three to five keywords in your search request. Did you know: Our subject matter experts review every feedback submission on knowledgebase articles. As of December 2016, we’ve reviewed over 2,700 feedback submissions this year alone! Your feedback helps us make changes that improve the knowledgebase for the entire Sage community. Please keep that feedback coming.
  • Year-End Center It’s always here sooner than you expect . . . year end! To help you get through it, our year-end center on Sage City is chock-full of videos, articles, and forum threads to guide you through all your year-end questions.

 

Products & Features

The latest release of Sage 50 Accounting—U.S. Edition also includes improvements based on your feedback:

  • Automatic online backup: the first feature delivered through integration with Microsoft Office 365. This top-requested feature provides Sage 50c customers with a simple and efficient way to schedule automatic backups, bringing them peace of mind knowing their financial data is securely stored in the cloud

  • Mobile invoicing: Available through integration with Sage One, now Sage 50c customers will never miss a billing opportunity. They can create and send professional online invoices that can be paid immediately using PayPal or a credit or debit card

  • Read-only access: for Sage 50c customers using Sage Drive. Now, when there’s someone working in a Sage Drive shared company, other users have read-only access to that information. Along with the Pause/Refresh button delivered in July, these enhancements make it easier for everyone in the business to have access to the financials when they need it.

  • Web-mail support: for all Sage 50 customers who use email providers like Yahoo, Gmail, and many others. They can use their web-based service to email invoices, credit memos and other items directly from the software

  • Automated payroll activation: Sage Payroll customers can more easily activate their payroll service from within Sage 50. Instead of entering an activation code, they simply select their service from a drop down menu and get going.
