Why is my federal unemployment (which is an employer expense) showing up on my W2's? It is marked unassigned and I have tried deleting it but it still shows up
From the main Sage 50 window, go to Maintain > Default Information > Payroll Settings. In Payroll Settings, click on Taxes, then Assign Tax Fields, then click the W-2 Fields button. If you see FUTA_ER assigned to a field here, change it to None. When you go back to your W-2s be sure to start over if prompted, don't use your saved work.
