State Tax Audit data export

SOLVED

Need assistance in extracting data from Sage 50 for a Tax Audit.  Currently pulled the Invoice Registry, but it does not show early pay discounts that have been applied. Is there a group of reports required to be pulled or is this something that needs to be built/pulled from Intelligence reporting?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated as I have been trying to get in touch with Sage Support for weeks....

You could try the Intelligence Reporting but that may be difficult and time consuming.  You can pull this info from the General Ledger  as the Invoice number is part of the Trans Description, send to Excel then filter data in Excel. If you have a specific GL account used on the receipt screen for discounts, then filter by the General Ledger Account ID by that account and summarize in detail.

If you know Excel you could probably get the info you need for the discount amounts applied on the Receipt because you have the invoice number as well.

If you want someone to write a report for you specific to this, I can give you a quote.  Please send me your contact info.

    Kim -

Thank you for your help.  It looks like the GL Ledger export will provide the missing information, just wish all the data could be easily extracted as it was in our old system (DACEasy).  Sage 50 has some nice features, but sure does lack in many ways resulting is so many additional steps to get your required end result.

I certainly sympathize with you on the data extraction challenges. Sage's answer to that is Sage Intelligence Reports, but some customers find it difficult to use. Perhaps you should give it a try.

What could possibly go wrong, go wrong, go wrong...  (Just kidding)

    Best regards,
