Sage Intelligence Reporting for Sage 50 US will retire

On our Sage 50 2022 we are receiving a notification about Sage 50 Intelligence Reporting is being retired.

Will this affect the reports that are designed in this tool after the stipulated date?

  • Based on the information that we have been presented with, it appears as though you will have the option to "convert" your Sage Intelligence Reports to a new, recommended Report Writer. Please reach out to us for additional information, https://pcosupport.com 800-780-0700

  • Hi Jose ... it will eventually affect the reports but there is a new option we've started to use to create new Sage 50 custom reports as well as to convert existing Sage Intelligence reports.  Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or 1-800-339-8224 to discuss your options.  Thanks ... Tim

  • Hello Jose, Sage has decided to discontinue its support of Intelligence Reporting much as they did with Crystal about 9 years ago. Sage may stop supporting IR, but we will continue to support the reports already written, and in fact, we will continue to write new reports with IR. As the next year unfolds before sage stops supporting, I am hopeful that IR (or its new name) will continue to be supported by whoever decides to pick up the report writer after sage drops it. Tammi Ermerins can tell you that Crystal is alive and well and I am confident that IR will also live on beyond sage and it will always be able to extract data from sage to produce the excellent reports you are used to seeing with IR. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

So any reports customized from standard reports listed under Accounts Receivable, Financial Statements, etc.. will not be impacted since they are not part of Intelligence Reporting, correct?
