You would have to reinstall the program, but if you do that, you will not be able to use the program because it won't reactivate.

Here is why:

I sent this letter out to some of my clients encouraging them to upgrade at this time.

Sage 50 – Cannot reactivate old programs

Sage 50 2019 has had reactivation issues for quite some time. They have now made a formal announcement so people can plan ahead and be prepared.

The engine that runs Sage is now Action Zen, not Pervasive.   We notified our clients about this back in 2019. blog.bestbusinessstrategies.net/pre-release-notice-sage-50-u-s-2020-0-july-2019

You can use your program for now; however, if your computer fails and the program loses activation with the Sage computer, you will NOT be able to reactivate it. You will need to purchase a new program.

I don't know when your program will stop working or when Sage will quit selling Perpetual licenses.  Those are MILLION-dollar questions I cannot answer.  At this time,  I have some people upgrading, some thinking about making a purchase, and others just saying they will wait until it breaks and take their chance on getting a Perpetual program at that time.

At this time, WE ARE still selling Sage 50 Perpetual programs with one year of Sage support and a FREE upgrade to 2023. Like Sage, we also sell Subscription programs.
