But, as I noted, my 2nd company will be the same size. At least initially, it will have the same customers, same vendors and same items, etc..  Obviously, transactions such as sales will increase over time.  How about if I ask my question a different way?  If I duplicate my current company to create a 2nd company will it be the same size of 771 mb?

When viewing the size of the company directory from the File Explorer for Windows, the folder size may also include any backups you've made through the years of using Sage 50 Accounting. Refer to the knowledgebase article How to find the size of a company
