Hi BalticonThank you for reaching out.  The lines on the Budget are determined by the type of GL you have selected.  So, the only option to add lines is to export to Excel, make the changes and re-import to Sage 50.

I created a new Budget.  Added a NEW GL account to my chart and when I reopened my Budget, the new account was there.

Interesting to know. I want to make changes in existing G/L accounts.  We need some clearer instructions from Sage on this, but I don't think they've noticed this thread.

I am not sure your question is clear.  So are you saying you have an expense account that has $3000 assigned to it and you want it to be $4000.  How do you  change the budget amount for that GL line item?

What program are you using?
