Tracking stock parts found both in bins & built assemblies

SUGGESTED

In Sage 50 Quantum is there a simple way to view stock levels of parts some of which are in built assemblies and some still found in parts bins?  For example we have an instrument that us comprised of over 600 unique parts.  Within the instrument are 50 sub-assemblies.  When the assemblies are assembled in Sage the parts are, of course, gone from the the part inventory count.  Stated differently, is there a simple way to view comprehensively the parts inventory count (and base our purchase decisions) taking into account both parts found in the assemblies and parts still residing in bins?

I've played around with the Inventory/Service Management page but from what I can see this doesn't show what I am looking for.  I can look up and piece together where the parts are located if I search them one at a time, but I would like to print a report for over 1000 items that shows me only the items that are below a certain minimum stock level, capturing both the quantity on hand of the part and the quantity on hand found in assemblies.  So if I have sub-assembly A, B & C that all use part X and these sub-assemblies go into final assemblies J & K.  I want to see how many of part X I have as loose parts in the bin (X), and in assemblies A,B,C, J & K.
