Cash Flow Statement Prior year beginning cash balance

SOLVED

I want to make a comparative cash flow statement with columns: current period; current period year to date, prior year period, prior year period year to date.

I have difficulties in defining the beginning cash balance for the prior year period and the prior year period year to date columns.

Also, when I try to put some data in to define the month(s) I am looking for and the system does not recognize it as within the 24 months allowed, the program says such data is not recognized and the program freezes up and I have to force the program to close and try anew. Is this normal? How can I overcome having to close and start the program anew. (Note: this also happens with balance sheet and income statement)

The cash flow statement can be a bit tricky as it is a few sub reports pulled together but the date issue shouldn't freeze or close it.  I would probably have to take a look but one thing to note is the beginning cash at the bottom is subtracting from the ending cash balance so that doesn't display the best but can be edited.  [email protected]

I do not know how to put an amount in there to override and still calculate.. The client company has a fiscal yearend ending on June 30. February 2024 is the 8th month in the current fiscal year. Theoretically I can post to June 2025  I would like to be able to put the beginning cash balance as of July 1 2022 in my comparative cash flow statement, which would be 20 months ago. Beginning cash balance as of July 1 2023 is no problem, but year- to- date prior year beginning balance is. Solution would be if Sage could keep3 years open. Any suggestions
